Allegory is excited to announce two recent awards presented at the 2017 Capital Region MARCOM Awards for excellence and achievement in the fields of marketing and public relations.

Allegory was a winner in the Website and Marketing Campaign categories. The honors stem from its work on behalf of two clients: Nussbaum Transportation and Balzer and Tuck Architecture.

“It is always an honor to be recognized for our work, but it’s especially rewarding to have our work with these two clients be awarded. Nussbaum and Balzer and Tuck are exceptional companies that stand out in their respective industries and we are proud to partner with them on their brand, culture, and marketing efforts,” said Theresa Agresta, partner at Allegory.

Marketing Campaign Award on behalf of Nussbaum Transportation

Allegory partnered with Nussbaum Transportation to build a driver recruiting campaign that inspired the company’s drivers and promoted a positive image of the trucking industry. For Nussbaum’s Celebrating Faith & Family campaign, Allegory created artful 53’ truck wraps that showed an ordinary moment of family connection to build a positive association between the roles of trucks, drivers, and Nussbaum. In the year the trucks launched on the road, driver turnover at Nussbaum was 70% below industry average, the company was named “Best Fleet to Drive For”, and its CEO received countless positive messages from the driving community.

“Allegory’s work recognized that everything we do here is tied to our culture. With a clear strategy that was executed beautifully, the campaign continues to make Nussbaum stand out in our industry,” said Brent Nussbaum, CEO of Nussbaum Transportation.

Website Award on behalf of Balzer and Tuck Architecture

Balzer and Tuck Architecture’s existing website was outdated and challenging to use on a mobile device. Allegory developed a new responsive design website that features expansive photography, compelling residential and commercial portfolios, and client testimonials. The new site is a powerful business tool at the center of the firm’s sales strategy – attracting, educating, and engaging right-fit prospects.

“Our website is the best weapon in our arsenal right now. It speaks for us, saving us time every day in business development efforts. Allegory’s design and navigation structure gives us confidence and guides our visitors where they need to go to choose us as their architect,” said Brett Balzer, partner at Balzer and Tuck Architecture.

Allegory represents clients in various sectors including architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), transportation and logistics, business services, education, and legal and financial services. It also supports robust internal culture communications programs through its sister company, CultureTalk, a survey system that measures organizational culture and individual personalities for use in branding, employment brand, change initiatives, and leadership and teambuilding efforts.
