About this project
Based in Dallas Texas, Frozen Food Express Industries (FFE, www.ffeinc.com) is the largest asset-based temperature-controlled carrier in the United States with 13 locations throughout the country providing cold storage and break bulk services. When the company was started in the 1940s, cross-country transport of perishable goods was extremely limited. Founder Cy Weller, of San Antonio, would go on to successfully revolutionize the food transportation industry, changing food distribution and grocery shopping as we know it.
By 2007, FFE had acquired two other trucking companies: American Eagle and Lisa Motor Lines. The company called upon Allegory Studios (then called WriteEdge Communications) to facilitate a strategic work session with leaders across all companies to develop consensus on a common vision and unified corporate culture.

Vision.
Celebrating a history of innovation that spans over 60 years, FFE set in motion ideas that changed the way the world thinks about perishable goods. In 1948, we identified the opportunity to transport fresh and frozen foods across the country and pioneered trailers with the deep-freezing capacity that made it possible. Under the leadership of Stoney Stubbs, followed by his son Mitt Stubbs, we went on to establish an extensive temperature-controlled LTL network that is still unrivaled in the industry. Our unique, multi-temp, LTL trailers are divided into two separately cooled compartments to accommodate both frozen and refrigerated loads on the same run.
Today, we pair these offerings with a complete slate of transportation services as a publicly-owned company traded on the NASDAQ (FFEX). And with just one call, our customers have access to every dry and temperature-controlled transportation service they need.

Through more than 650 regularly scheduled LTL runs each week, we offer frozen, cooler and dry services between every major port within the country, as well as between points in the U.S. and Canada.
Truckload Services:
Temperature-controlled or dry van, we’ve got the capacity and the expertise to handle any load. Long-standing relationships with Fortune 500 companies form a strong customer base, with a reach that extends to include through trailer service to/from Mexico, Canada and Puerto Rico.
Customized Solutions:
Specialists in hauling pharmaceutical, meat and confectionery products, we provide dedicated equipment and services and enjoy exclusive, long-standing relationships with many of our customers.
